6 years agoArizona Coyotes goaltender Darcy Kuemper allowed just one goal on 32 shots in a hard-luck loss in a shootout on the road against the New Jersey Devils on Saturday. It was the fourth consecutive loss for the Coyotes, who are struggling to maintain their footing in the race for a playoff spot in the Western Conference. He is 2-2-1 with a 2.01 goals-against average and .931 save percentage across the past five outings, but over the past three outings the offense has averaged a dismal 1.67 goals of support. He'll look for better results either Sunday as the road trip continues against the New York Islanders, or Tuesday back at home against the Chicago Blackhawks.--Daniel Dobish
