No Setbacks For Michael Gallup Wednesday
2 years agoDallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup (knee) didn't have any setbacks on Wednesday when he returned to seven-on-seven team drills for the first time since tearing his ACL on Jan. 2, according to head coach Mike McCarthy. Gallup will look to build on that activity on Thursday in pads. The 26-year-old was officially listed as limited for Wednesday's practice. He's making good progress, but it remains unlikely that he'll make his 2022 season debut in a Week 2 meeting with the Cincinnati Bengals at home. Gallup's short-term fantasy value also took a big hit when quarterback Dak Prescott fractured his thumb in the season-opening loss to the Buccaneers. Noah Brown served as the No. 2 receiver behind CeeDee Lamb in Week 1.
