2 years agoMiami Marlins outfielder Avisail Garcia's (hand) MRI exam showed no structural damage and just mild inflammation. Garcia was scratched from the lineup on Sunday with a hand injury, but fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now after he missed another game on Monday against the Philadelphia Phillies. The 31-year-old his hitting just .223/.264/.293 with three home runs, 14 RBI, 17 runs scored and three stolen bases on the season. Meanwhile, third baseman Brian Anderson (back) is now hitting off a tee and throwing medicine balls. He's missed over two weeks with a bulging disc in his spine and remains without a timetable for a return. Jon Berti has seen most of the playing time at the hot corner with Anderson and Joey Wendle on the injured list.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
