6 years agoNew Jersey Devils goaltender Mackenzie Blackwood allowed just two goals on 35 shots in Wednesday's 2-1 home loss against the Calgary Flames. Blackwood stood on his head and did a good job, allowing only one power-play goal which wasn't his fault, and an even-strength marker. He certainly deserved a better fate, but Jersey goaltenders better start expecting these kind of empty outings, as the offense is rather bare bones and they're going with an inexperienced youth movement.
