No Timetable For Jameson Williams' Return
2 years agoThe Detroit Lions haven't offered a timetable for the return of rookie wide receiver Jameson Williams (knee), but general manager Brad Holmes said the team will take it slow with Williams' recovery from an ACL injury in January. Williams will open the year on the Non-Football Injury list, meaning he'll miss at least the first four games. The Lions have Amon-Ra St. Brown, DJ Chark, Josh Reynolds, Kalif Raymond and Quintez Cephus, so they don't need to rush Williams back. Williams is very intriguing in dynasty/keeper leagues -- he had 79 catches for 1,572 yards and 15 touchdowns at Alabama in 2021 -- but with a delayed start to his rookie season, he might struggle for consistency one he does return in his first NFL season.
