No Timetable For Yoenis Cespedes’ Return
6 years agoJust a few days ago, it seemed like New York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes was nearing a return from the right hip flexor injury that has kept him on the shelf. That was unfortunately not to be, as Cespedes’ quadriceps tightened up and has kept him out even longer. According to general manager Sandy Alderson, there is “no timetable” for Cespedes’ return. It's not good news, as he’s essentially starting the rehab process over with an injury that’s crept up on him multiple times over the years. The Mets offense needs him back badly, but it truly seems to be anyone’s guess as to when that will be.
