6 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes was nearing a return from the right hip flexor strain that’s had him on the disabled list since May 14, but due to a setback we may now be a ways away again. Cesepdes left Saturday’s game with Double-A Binghamton in the bottom of the third inning with tightness in his right quad, an ailment that’s been a common one for Yo over the years. He’ll now return to Port St. Lucie, Florida, to continue his rehab, and does not have a timetable according to manager Mickey Callaway. Obviously, not news that fantasy owners or Mets fans wanted to hear. Hopefully we’ll know more in a few days; continue to check back for updates.--John Smith
