No Timetable On Carlos Correa Return
6 years agoHouston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa still has not resumed baseball activities, according to manager A.J. Hinch. It has been two weeks now and the team is steadfast in not rushing their talented shortstop back onto the field. Correa was put on the shelf with what is being called "back stiffness" and clearly the team wants him at 100% before getting back on the field. It is becoming more and more likely that Correa may not return until after the All-Star break and may also have to go on a rehab assignment once he begins playing again. This is a tough break for fantasy owners but Correa is too talented to give up on now. Correa is currently hitting .268 with 13 home runs, 16 doubles and 49 runs batted in this season. Alex Bregman will continue to fill in at shortstop for the time being.
