No Trade Partners Exist For Jimmy Garoppolo

2 years agoNFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that as of right now, no trade partners exist for San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. The Niners have already made it abundantly clear that they've moved on from Garoppolo, but they'd prefer to trade him instead of outright cutting him. If San Francisco doesn't cut him, they could find a way to keep him on the roster for the start of the 2022 season. The 30-year-old's contract becomes guaranteed on Sept. 10, and he's also coming off offseason shoulder surgery, which has primarily led to him remaining with the Niners to this point. Jimmy G will eventually wind up with another organization, but it remains to be seen when that will happen. Until his future becomes clear, he's pretty useless in single-year fantasy leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
