3 years agoLos Angeles Angels first baseman Jared Walsh (side) has yet to be activated from the 10-day injured list. Although there were rumblings that he would be ready to go for the weekend matchups against the Los Angeles Dodgers, skipper Joe Maddon couldn't provide an update on Saturday when asked. The 28-year-old was playing relatively well before going down with an intercostal strain at the end of July, so the lack of news is rather unfortunate. However, fantasy managers should remain optimistic that Walsh could be activated soon, possibly as early as Sunday for the series finale.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
