Noah Fant Seeking Natural Usage With Seahawks
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks tight end Noah Fant hopes that the team deploys him in a way that feels more natural and appropriate this coming season, according to Will Petersen of 104.3 The Fan. The former first-round pick said he was drafted to "get down the field, make those explosive plays, and kind of be that pass catching tight end." However, during his time with the Broncos, he felt cornered into a role that entailed "catching flat balls or whatever it may be, and then trying to be a shifty guy and elusive guy and try to break as many tackles possible to get my yards." Heading into 2022, following his trade from Denver to Seattle, it's reasonable to view Fant as a mid-to-low TE1.
