7 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard (illness) is coming off the disabled list on Wednesday and will start against the Nationals. In a corresponding move, the team optioned reliever Tim Peterson to Triple-A Las Vegas. Syndergaard wound up only missing one start due to hand, foot and mouth disease. He may not go as long in this one, but his fantasy owners are probably starting him regardless. Thor has posted a solid 6-1 record this year with a 2.89 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 83 strikeouts in 74 2/3 innings over 13 starts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
