Noah Syndergaard Looks Great In Spring Debut
7 years agoDespite returning from injury to toss a few innings at the end of the 2017 season, New York Mets starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard (lat) will undoubtedly be watched all spring for any signs of something lingering. Syndergaard made his spring debut on Monday against the Houston Astros, and so far, so good. Thor threw two perfect innings, striking out two while consistently topping 100 mph on the radar gun. It certainly looks as though Syndergaard’s 2017 lat issue is behind him. He is just as good a bet to produce (relative to average draft position) as any of the other starting pitchers being drafted that high.
