6 years agoIt feels like the recovery process for New York Mets starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard (finger) has been at the slowest crawl possible, but thankfully we have another update. There is optimism among Mets officials that Syndergaard might throw a bullpen session over the weekend or shortly thereafter. A minor league rehab start would likely follow after that prior to Thor’s return to the big leagues. Syndergaard last pitched for the Mets a month ago before a strained ligament in his right index finger put him out of action. He was close to returning about two weeks ago, but additional swelling prevented that from happening. Check back here to see if Thor gets the aforementioned bullpen session in this weekend.--John Smith
