Noah Syndergaard Remains On Track
4 years agoNew York Mets pitching coach Jeremy Hefner stated on Sunday that starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard (elbow) remains on track for a June return. Syndergaard missed the entire 2020 season due to Tommy John surgery, following a poor 2019 campaign in which he led the league in earned runs with 94 and posted a career-worst 4.28 ERA. Given consistent positive reports in the early spring regarding his health status and return calendar, Syndergaard remains a low-risk, high reward option at his current 328 ADP. Wise managers who roster Syndergaard on their bench or injured list for first the two-plus months of the season could be greatly rewarded with solid ratios and strikeouts in the second half of the season.
