7 years agoThe New York Mets announced how the top part of their starting rotation will pan out to start the season. Unsurprisingly, starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard gets the nod on Opening Day against the St. Louis Cardinals, while Jacob deGrom will start the second game of the year. deGrom likely would have taken the hill first, but lower back stiffness has limited his prep time this spring – he certainly looks back to normal now, though. This is all just semantics anyway. The Mets have a great problem on their hands with two legitimate aces atop the rotation. Continue to draft both with confidence at their current ADP.--John Smith
