Noah Syndergaard To Start Tuesday
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard (illness) will make the start on Tuesday on the road against the Boston Red Sox. Syndergaard was scratched from his previous outing on Friday against the Chicago White Sox with a non-COVID-related illness. The 29-year-old threw a bullpen session on Sunday and will be making his first start since April 23. The layoff might make Thor a bit more risky in fantasy against Boston, but he has been very solid in his first three starts for the Angels this year, allowing only four earned runs while walking four and striking out 11 in 17 innings pitched. Shohei Ohtani, who tweaked his groin on Sunday, didn't play on Monday, but he could make his next start on the mound on either Wednesday or Thursday.
