3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard (elbow) will face live batters on Wednesday, Deesha Thosar of the New York Daily News reported. The 29-year-old ace has faced multiple setbacks this season as he works his way back from Tommy John surgery, most recently being shut down in August after he tested positive for COVID-19. Although there is still a very slight chance fans could see Syndergaard before the end of the season, he won't have any kind of fantasy impact with only a couple of weeks left in the regular season.--Chelena Goldman
