Noah Syndergaard’s Strained Finger Now Confirmed
6 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard looked for a second opinion after his finger was not healing as expected, but a second doctor has confirmed what we already knew. Thor has a strained ligament in his right index finger. Once again, Syndergaard will rest for a few days before starting to throw. If you recall, this is what he did last time after being placed on the disabled list May 29, and he seemed to have a successful throwing session before his finger swelled back up. Perhaps he’ll rest a little longer this time. Chances are we won’t see Thor back in the Mets rotation until late-June at the earliest.
