Nolan Gorman Doesn't Have Limitations
2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals rookie infielder Nolan Gorman (hand) said that his bruised hand is fine and that he doesn't have any limitations in terms of hitting or fielding. However, he remains out of the starting lineup on Friday against the Philadelphia Phillies for the third straight game. Fantasy managers should expect the 22-year-old to return at some point over the weekend, and he could even come off the bench against Philly on Friday. In his first 35 major league games in 2022, Gorman has gone 30-for-118 (.254) with six home runs, 17 RBI and 20 runs scored. There's plenty of upside here, but he's walked only eight times while striking out 40 times in 128 plate appearances. Tommy Edman will play second and hit leadoff, while Edmundo Sosa is at the 6 and is batting eighth against Phillies left-hander Bailey Falter on Friday.
