3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals second baseman Nolan Gorman (back) was not available for Tuesday's 3-2 extra-innings win over the Padres due to lower back stiffness, per beat writer Jeff Jones. Gorman experienced similar stiffness in the spring, but has seen regular playing time of late and has slashed an impressive .387/.472/.677 in his first 10 games with the Cardinals. It sounds as though he is day-to-day at this time. This is good news for fantasy managers, as the 22-year-old prospect already seems like he can be an impact fantasy player in what has been a relatively weak position to this point.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
