2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals second baseman Nolan Gorman (back) is still out of the starting lineup on Thursday against the Chicago Cubs. It will be the third straight game on the sidelines for the Cardinals infield prospect due to lower-back tightness. The 22-year-old was scheduled to take batting practice before the game, so he could be available to pinch hit. In his first 36 big-league plate appearances, Gorman has gone 12-for-31 (.387) with two home runs, seven RBI and nine runs scored. He should be rostered in all fantasy formats at this point and should continue to see regular playing time at second base, when healthy. Fellow rookie Brendan Donovan will play the keystone and hit fifth on Thursday against Cubs right-hander Keegan Thompson.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
