4 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Nomar Mazara (unspecified) is close to joining the White Sox any day now, according to Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun Times. Mazara spent some time in summer camp, but wound up on the injured list for an unspecified reason on July 21. Manager Rick Renteria said that Mazara feels good and will go through another day of work on Monday. Mazara is a former top prospect and was acquired from the Texas Rangers this offseason. His return would mean less at-bats for Nicky Delmonico and Adam Engel. Mazara is worth a look in deeper mixed leagues.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
