Nomar Mazara Homers, Leaves Injured
6 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Nomar Mazara (quadriceps) ended up 2-for-4 with a solo home run in the eighth inning off of reliever Josh James, a 439-foot bomb to center field with the wind blowing in from 15-18 mph. He showed muscle in this one, but also did it with his hustle while also beating out an infield single for an RBI in the first inning. Mazara must have hurt himself trotting around the bases, as he was removed for the ninth inning due to tightness in his left quadriceps. Consider him day-to-day for now.
