4 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Nomar Mazara (abdomen) was activated from the injured list on Saturday and is in the lineup against the Twins, according to Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press. Mazara was placed on the injured list with a left abdominal strain on April 15, after opening the season by slashing .237/.275/.395 with two home runs, five RBI and three runs scored in 12 games. He will get the start in right field on Saturday and will bat fifth against Minnesota starter Jose Berrios. In a corresponding move, the team optioned outfielder Victor Reyes to Triple-A. For now, Mazara is only worth taking a look at in AL-only formats or deeper mixed leagues.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
