2 years agoOakland Athletics rookie right-hander Norge Ruiz blew the save against the Washington Nationals on Thursday and was charged with the loss in the 7-5 defeat when he allowed four runs (three earned) on two hits (one homer) while walking one and striking out one in two-thirds of an inning. The 28-year-old allowed a game-winning three-run home run, and he's now allowed a whopping 11 runs (10 earned) on 17 hits while walking two and striking out 10 in just 6 2/3 innings over his first four major league relief appearances.
