3 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers tight end O.J. Howard is slated to return from an Achilles injury he sustained in Week 4 of last season that held him out for the remainder of the 2020 campaign. In four games last season, Howard managed 11 receptions for 146 yards and two touchdowns on 19 targets. In four NFL seasons, the TE hasn't truly broken out (career-highs in a season are 34 receptions, 53 targets, and 565 yards), but that doesn't mean he can't set career-highs in 2021, especially with Tom Brady running the show and the offense being high-powered. The only concern for Howard should be heavy competition for targets and how well he can play upon returning from injury. He should be considered a back-end TE2 for now.--Rishi Patel - RotoBaller
