3 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers tight end O.J. Howard (Achilles) "isn't there yet" in his recovery from a torn Achilles injury per head coach Bruce Arians. Howard was able to practice for the first time in late July but is still trying to work his way back physically, with Arians noting that there were a couple of plays that the 26-year-old could have made during Monday's practice but that he is still "catching up to the speed" of things. A torn Achilles limited Howard to just four games last season- though he operated as the clear second option behind Rob Gronkowski in that span, out-snapping fellow tight end Cameron Brate while producing 11 catches for 146 yards and two scores. Howard's health and the crowded nature of the Buccaneers' offense will leave him undrafted in many fantasy leagues, though he could be worth monitoring in the first few weeks of the season.--Tim Capurso
