Odell Beckham Jr. Believed To Have Torn ACL
3 years agoLos Angeles Rams wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. (knee) is believed to have suffered a torn ACL in his left knee in Sunday's Super Bowl win over the Cincinnati Bengals, according to a source. It means that Beckham has a long road of recovery ahead of him, and he might not be ready for the 2022 season. Before his injury, he caught two passes for 52 yards and the first touchdown of the game. It's the second time that OBJ has torn the ACL in his left knee, and he missed nine games after injuring the same knee in Week 7 of the 2020 season. He caught only 17 of 34 targets and didn't score at all in six games with the Cleveland Browns in 2021 before he was waived and signed by the Rams. Beckham had five TDs in seven regular season games in LA and caught 19 passes for 236 yards in three playoff games before the Super Bowl. Slated to become a free agent, his rehab will be closely monitored by interested teams, including the Rams.
