Odell Beckham Jr. Finishes Super Bowl On Sidelines
3 years agoLos Angeles Rams wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. (knee) scored Super Bowl LVI's first touchdown of the game, but he was forced to finish the game against the Cincinnati Bengals on the sidelines after suffering a non-contact left knee injury in the first half. Before the injury, Beckham caught two of three targets for 52 yards and the score. The 29-year-old was in line for a big game in this one, but it never came to be, and No. 1 wideout Cooper Kupp stole the show late in the game for the win. OBJ looked much more competent in 12 games for the Rams than he did in two-plus years for the Cleveland Browns. He finished the 2021 regular season with 44 catches on 82 targets for 537 yards and five touchdowns (all with LA). Beckham, who will be a free agent, will remain fantasy relevant if he stays with the Rams, but injuries continue to be a problem.
