6 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr has been ruled out for Sunday’s matchup against the Washington Redskins with a quadriceps injury. Beckham was limited at Friday’s practice with a bruised quad, but all signs pointed to him missing the injury report until Saturday morning. It has been reported that he will also not be traveling with the team this Sunday. The Giants are still the favorites in this matchup with Mark Sanchez starting at quarterback after the injury to backup Colt McCoy in last Monday night’s game against the Eagles. The injury to OBJ will instantly make Sterling Shepard the No. 1 wide receiver for the Giants and could also create more targets for tight end Evan Engram.--Chase Holden
