7 years agoThe Los Angeles Angels recalled pitcher Odrisamer Despaigne from the minors, and he will start on Friday against the Rangers. It just shows how desperate the Angels are for rotation help at the moment. The veteran right-hander was recently acquired from the Marlins after going 2-0 with a 5.31 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 8.0 K/9 over 11 outings (one start) covering 20 1/3 innings. Despaigne allowed four runs on six hits in five innings in a loss to the Cubs on Mar 31 in his lone start this year. He's a very poor streaming option on Friday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
