3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Odubel Herrera (elbow) exited Thursday's game after being hit by a pitch on the elbow, according to Matt Gelb of The Athletic. Herrera was hit on the elbow in the top of the eighth inning, and while he initially remained in the game, he was replaced on defense in the bottom half of the inning. He's been a decent option in deeper formats this year, slashing .250/.307/.411 with nine homers, four steals, 35 RBI and 40 runs scored. Consider him day-to-day for now, and keep an eye out for further updates on his condition later tonight.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
