4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Odubel Herrera homered in Thursday's spring training game versus the Yankees. Herrera hit a moonshot off Deivi Garcia to lead off the bottom of the second inning after gunning down a runner at the plate to end the top of the frame. Herrera's presence in Phillies camp has been controversial following his domestic-violence arrest, but he is under contract and so far has said all the right things since arriving in camp. The center field job in Philly is wide open, so if Herrera plays well, he could work his way into a starting role. Herrera slashed .255/.310/.420 with 22 homers in 2019, so he would have fantasy value in deeper formats if he finds his way into regular playing time.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
