Odubel Herrera Not In Lineup, Dealing With Ankle Injury
3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Odubel Herrera (ankle) is not in the starting lineup on Tuesday night due to soreness in his right ankle, according to Matt Gelb of The Athletic. Gelb reports that Herrera had tested his ankle earlier in the day on Tuesday, and he reported it was feeling sore and the team decided to keep him out of the lineup as a result. Travis Jankowski is getting the start in center field now, and will bat eighth in the order against the Diamondbacks. Herrera has provided some value in deeper formats this year by slashing .247/.300/.393 with eight homers, four steals, 34 RBI and 38 runs scored. Managers who have him rostered should consider him day-to-day for now and keep an eye out for updates following the game.
