4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Odubel Herrera was left off the team's initial roster ahead of MLB teams reporting to camp on July 1. Herrera was designated for assignment in January and was not guaranteed a roster spot even before COVID-19 put the MLB season on hold. Herrera was arrested in a domestic incident last Memorial Day, though his 20-year-old girlfriend has elected not to pursue further charges. The Phillies left the door open for Herrera to return if he does "everything 100% right both on the field and off," but it sounds like a long shot to see him in the majors again anytime soon.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
