6 years agoThrough four weeks, Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson has already been sacked 17 times. He is on pace to be sacked 68 times this year. The Houston offensive line allowed 54 sacks in 2017. Only the Bills have allowed more sacks so far this year. Watson has also been hit 43 times and is on pace to be hit 172 times this year. "I think he’s really smart about it for the most part when you look at how he deals with those plays. He gets his pads down or he ducks out of bounds. He’s a very, very smart runner. So, that’s something we try to build around," head coach Bill O'Brien said. The team has already benched right tackle Julien Davenport after he was penalized eight times in three games. Watson was sacked seven times and hit 11 times in the overtime win over the Colts. Watson still has QB1 potential, but a shaky offensive line won't help his consistency at all moving forward.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
