6 years agoNew York Giants defensive end Olivier Vernon (ankle) didn't practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 2 against the Cowboys. Vernon is dealing with a high ankle sprain, so he was never expected to play this weekend. He should have a better chance to return next week, but it's no guarantee. New York's pass rush isn't anything to be scared of with Vernon not on the field. It's good news for Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
