6 years agoSeattle Mariners backstop Omar Narvaez broke out in a big way Friday night going 3-for-4 with a home run in the team's 9-2 win over the Athletics. He scored three times and drove in a pair in this one building his average to .284 on the season with 10 dingers, 32 runs, and 25 RBI. Narvaez has slowed down at the dish hitting .182 over his previous 13 games, but he's now had two multi-hit games in his last three starts. Hopefully, this game is a sign that he's back on track after starting the year as one of the hottest hitting catchers in the league. Narvaez may not have the most substantial counting stats, but by season's end, he's likely to be near the top in the batting average category.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
