7 years agoNew York Rangers backup goalie Ondrej Pavelec will be in net Thursday as they take on their cross-town rivals, the New York Islanders. Pavelec has four wins in 18 games this season but is giving up under 2.5 goals per game. He certainly isn't in the best spot, since this game has an over-under set at 6.5, which is very high for the NHL. The Islanders are one of the better offensive teams in the league and given the inexperience the Rangers have on defense, Pavelec has his work cut out for him.--Tom Vecchio - RotoBaller
