7 years agoThe Baltimore Orioles have called up starting pitcher Luis Ortiz, who went 2-1 with a 3.66 ERA in six starts for Triple-A Norfolk after being the centerpiece in the deal that sent second baseman Jonathan Schoop to Milwaukee. It remains to be seen if Ortiz will make any starts at the big league level in September, but the Orioles certainly have nothing to lose. Consider the No. 7 prospect in Baltimore's system in AL-only and deeper leagues as a streaming option if he makes any starts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
