3 years agoThe Baltimore Orioles had interest in signing free-agent infielder Donovan Solano before the league's lockout last December, but it's unclear if they still have interest after adding Rougned Odor. Solano is primarily a second baseman, but he can also play shortstop, third base and left field. He lost his salary arbitration hearing with the San Francisco Giants last winter and settled for $3.25 million after seeking $3.9 million. In 101 games last year, Solano slashed .280/.344/.404 a year after he won a Silver Slugger in the shortened 2020 season. Since 2019, the 34-year-old has hit an impressive .308/.354/.435 with 14 home runs and two steals in 775 plate appearances.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
