7 years agoFree-agent running back Orleans Darkwa is scheduled to work out for the Washington Redskins on Sunday, according to sources. Washington is in desperate need of bodies at the running back position with rookie Derrius Guice (knee) out for the year and with Samaje Perine (ankle) and Byron Marshall (ankle) both missing time. Darkwa had 171 carries for 751 yards and five touchdowns for the Giants in 15 games last year but suffered a serious leg injury. He's fully healed now and can provide some much-needed depth in Washington leading up to the season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
