Oscar Klefbom Done For The Season
7 years agoEdmonton Oilers defenseman Oscar Klefbom has played his final game of the season, as he's set to fix a crooked shoulder that has bothered him for a while. He'll end the year with five goals and 21 points in 66 games with a minus-12 rating and a career-high 203 shots on goal. The Oilers have called up Dillon Simpson from the AHL ahead of Tuesday's tilt with Carolina. Simpson is the leading scorer among defenseman at the Bakersfield Condors, recording 17 points with 13 assists in 56 games this season. However, he had no points in three NHL games back in December, registering two shots on goal and two penalty minutes.
