4 years agoAtlanta Braves second baseman Ozzie Albies is set to face live batting practice over each of the next two days, with the ultimate plan being that he could rejoin the big league lineup as soon as next week. With no Minor League games to rehab at in 2020, Atlanta plans on allowing him to play in scrimmages at the club’s alternate site, giving him in-game action for the first time since Aug. 4. Hampered by a right wrist contusion, Albies has scuffled at the dish this season, delivering a .468 OPS through his first 11 games. Johan Camargo has benefited from Albies’ absence and would likely be zapped of all fantasy intrigue upon his activation.--Jesse Borek
