2 years agoAtlanta Braves second baseman Ozzie Albies (foot) played catch on Wednesday, according to skipper Brian Snitker, and he will soon ramp up other baseball activities. In a best-case scenario, Albies could return in early to mid-September. The 25-year-old is no longer using a walking boot and will continue to ramp up his rehab in the coming weeks. He was hitting .244/.289/.405 with eight home runs, 33 RBI, 34 runs scored and three stolen bases in 242 at-bats before his injury. Even though Albies probably won't be ready until around midway through September, he's worth keeping stashed in an IL spot on fantasy rosters.
