2 years agoAtlanta Braves second baseman Ozzie Albies (foot) is hoping to return mid-to late-August. The 25-year-old underwent successful surgery to stabilize a fracture in his left foot in June. According to Braves general manager Alex Anthopoulos, Albies is at 75 percent weight-bearing. "We're probably looking at mid- to late-August or, worst case, the beginning of September," said Anthopoulos. He slashed .244/.289/.405 with eight home runs, 33 RBI, 34 runs scored, and three stolen bases in 263 plate appearances before landing on the injured list.
