3 years agoThe Miami Marlins placed starting pitcher Pablo Lopez (shoulder) on the 10-day injured list on Saturday due to a right rotator cuff strain. Fellow right-handed pitcher John Curtiss was activated from the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move. It's unfortunate news for both the Marlins and fantasy managers, as Lopez was in the midst of a strong 2021 season. In 101 innings, the right-handed starter had pitched to a 3.03 ERA and a 3.21 FIP while notching 111 strikeouts compared to just 25 walks. Even if your league doesn't have injured-list slots, Lopez is someone to hang on to for now given how well he's pitched this season.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
