6 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Pablo Lopez pitched 5 1/3 innings, giving up five hits, three earned runs, and no walks while striking out seven in the 7-3 win over the Colorado Rockies. Wins won't come too often for the Marlins this season and Lopez put up his first in his first game this year. Lopez is only 23 years old and could potentially be a bright spot for a Marlins team that desperately needs something to get excited about this year. All fantasy owners should keep an eye on him due to his age and the favorable conditions at Marlins Park that benefit pitchers.--Caden Inaba
