Pablo Lopez Roughed Up Friday
2 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Pablo Lopez was hit hard in Friday's 10-4 loss against the New York Mets. He was the losing pitcher after allowing seven runs (six earned) on eight hits and a home run in 5.1 innings. Lopez also struck out five and walked one. The month of June hasn't been friendly to the right-hander, who owns a 6.48 ERA over three starts. Lopez still has impressive numbers overall with a 4-3 record, 2.85 ERA, 77 strikeouts, and 1.07 WHIP across 75.2 innings pitched. Fantasy managers should continue to trust Lopez despite this rough stretch.
